Multisport - A line for those who want to try everything!
Here you get the best of both worlds – varied sports training, many days skiing and a long journey.
Our multi-sport summer at Sogndal Folk High School is suitable for those who want a half-year filled with sports, skiing, travel and experiences. You will get a varied program with both skiing, training and outdoor activities, combined with a unique travel experience.
In winter, the mountains around Sogndal transform into a ski paradise. The mountains here are known for being snow-sure.
At the ski resorts, you'll have the opportunity to improve your skiing technique through customized training. We work on everything from basic skills such as balance and control, to more advanced techniques such as turns, carving and terrain awareness. You'll receive personalized guidance to fine-tune your style and efficiency, while emphasizing safety and how to adapt to different conditions on the slopes. The goal is for you to feel confident and develop your skiing skills regardless of your level, so you can enjoy both powder snow and groomed trails to the fullest.
In Sogndal, snow and excitement meet learning! Here you get the opportunity to ski in facilities, in some of Norway's snowiest ski resorts. Sogndal ski center is only 20 minutes away, and here we get many great days of skiing. All students receive an annual pass, and can also use the facility in their free time.
Everyone gets a training pass at Spenst in Sogndal, a state-of-the-art training center with excellent facilities, and a lift pass at Sogndal Ski Center that gives you access to the ski resort all winter.
After returning home, we will end the semester with surfing at Stad, where the fjord meets the sea. It will be an active and social trip that puts a perfect end to a six-month period full of contrasts.

Field trip
Our study trip: Africa, Tanzania and Zanzibar
We're traveling to Africa, specifically Tanzania, where we fuse sport, solidarity and culture.
-
The study trip to Africa provides a unique combination of activity, nature and culture. The journey starts in Tanzania, where we get to experience some of the world's most famous national parks and a rich wildlife up close. The trip provides both physical activity and strong nature experiences - and is a highlight of the year at Multisport.
We travel on safari in Tarangire National Park , known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. We then continue to Serengeti National Park , where we have a full-day safari in one of the world's most famous wildlife areas. Accommodation is in wild camps with huts or tents. The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Crater , one of Africa's most impressive natural phenomena, where we get to experience a rich and varied wildlife up close.
After the safari days we fly on to Zanzibar , where culture and coastal life are in focus. We visit Stone Town , a historic trading center with narrow streets, local markets and vibrant culture. Here we gain insight into the island's history, food traditions and everyday life.
The tour ends on the coast on Zanzibar's northwest side, with a spice farm tour , beach activities and the possibility of excursions. Here there will be time for swimming, relaxation and water activities such as snorkeling and kayaking - a perfect end to the journey.
