Study trips
Study trip spring: Africa
Join us on an exciting study trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar, where you will experience safari, African nature and culture, and end the trip with activities and experiences on the coast.
-
The study trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar combines activity, culture, nature and wildlife. We will experience great contrasts, from everyday life and activities in Tanzania to safari and some quieter days on the coast in Zanzibar.
The first part of the trip we spend in the area around Moshi . Here we get to know the local community through various visits and activities. It can be everything from football and other sports activities to visits to schools, villages and local organizations. We get to meet people, learn more about everyday life and experience a culture that is in many ways different from our own.
An important part of the trip is safari . We visit some of Tanzania's famous national parks and wildlife areas, where we can see elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, lions and other wild animals. Along the way we stay at various accommodations, including outside or near the safari areas.
The last part of the trip goes to Zanzibar . Here the pace is a little slower, with beach life, ball games, culture and various excursions . We learn about spice production and have time to explore the island. There will also be opportunities for swimming and other activities by the sea.
This is a varied study trip where we get to be active, meet people, experience a different culture and see a completely different landscape and wildlife than at home in Norway.
