In connection with self-declaration in relation to infection control, we need to collect some information about whether you have any symptoms that may indicate possible infection. This information is deleted within 1 month after you arrive at the school. We use Google Docs for this,

This is information we exclusively use to manage your relationship with the school. We keep the information as long as we have a student/course participant relationship or until an event has been completed. You have the right to access, correct, and delete data we have stored about you. After the end of the student relationship/course/event, we will keep the data as long as we deem it appropriate to help you with any history or other communication should you need it.

3. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Personal data will not be disclosed unless there is a statutory obligation to disclose information to public authorities.

4. Student/course participant register

Our student register contains information about the student/course participant and information about the student's contact persons with name, email and telephone number. In addition, we store information about which services and courses the student/course participant has participated in. These are stored in our system for as long as it is useful for us. If you would like to get an overview of what we have stored and possibly be deleted from our student register, see the chapter on deletion below.

Sogndal Folk High School collects anonymized information about visitors to sogndal.fhs.no. We collect web statistics to improve the website and measure how well it works. Examples of what the statistics answer are how many people view the website, what pages are viewed, how long it lasts, what websites the users come from and what browsers are used.

Purpose: Creates statistics on views and viewing data on videos on the page.

Purpose: Collects information about visitors to customize marketing on Facebook and Instagram.

Purpose: Collects information about visitors to customize marketing on Snapchat.

Purpose: Collects information about visitors to customize marketing on TikTok.

7. Processing of information in applications

If you apply for a place at Sogndal Folk High School, we register your name, personal identification number and contact information, among other things. The purpose of the registrations is to administer your application(s) to the various folk high schools. The information is stored in WisWeb, which is the individual folk high schools' administrative system. You must contact the schools you have applied to directly if you would like a printout of the personal information stored about you.

8. Sharing

It is possible to share articles on the website on social media (Facebook, Twitter). Further handling of data shared on social media is regulated by your agreement with the relevant social media community.

9. Access, correction and deletion of personal information

According to the Personal Data Act, Section 18, you as a private individual have the right to access the information that is registered about you. Access can be obtained by contacting Sogndal Folk High School by email: sogndal@sogndal.fhs.no . If registered information is incorrect, incomplete or you wish to delete your information, you can request this in accordance with the Personal Data Act, Section 27.  

10. Responsible data processor

The principal of Sogndal Folk High School is responsible for the processing of personal data. The person concerned is responsible for ensuring that internal controls are carried out with regard to the processing of personal data, and that any deviations from applicable legislation are reported and corrected. We strive at all times to comply with applicable regulations for data protection.
