Information about the application

Anyone can apply to Sogndal Folk High School. Admissions start on November 15th and there is no application deadline. You can apply whenever you want, and we will admit students continuously from the time the admissions process begins and as long as we have available places. It may be worth applying early to get a place on the course you want the most.

The school has an age limit of 18, from before New Year's Day in the year you are a student. However, there may be exceptions, in which case please contact us directly.

In your application, we would like you to write a little about yourself, your background, and why you want to spend a year at a folk high school.

Your application will be reviewed the same day we receive it. We will respond both electronically and by regular mail. We may contact you by phone if we have any questions about your application. If you have any questions that you would like answered before submitting your application, we will be happy to answer them if you contact us.
