Versatility, energy and adventure
At Multisport Afrika you don't have to choose one sport. Throughout the fall we alternate between team sports, training and outdoor activities. Some days we play volleyball or floorball, other days we kayak, climb or go hiking.
You can try handball, soccer, volleyball, floorball, padel and frisbee golf, among other things. Strength training and intervals are also part of the teaching, and we use both the school's gym and Spenst, where everyone on the course gets a training card.
The nature around Sogndal gives us even more opportunities. We kayak on the fjord, climb indoors and outdoors, walk via ferrata and go on mountain hikes. There will also be trips with overnight stays and days where outdoor life and activity are combined.
It is precisely the variety that characterizes Multisport. You don't have to be the best at one sport or have tried everything before. Here you get to challenge yourself in many different areas, develop in activities you already enjoy and maybe discover some brand new favorites.
Throughout the fall we do a lot together, and cooperation and team spirit are an important part of the program. The goal is not for everyone to be the best, but for you to participate, challenge yourself and experience mastery together with others.
The fall also offers a study trip to Spain, where we take our active life to warmer surroundings.

Winter adventure
When the snow comes, skiing becomes an important part of Multisport. Everyone on the line gets an annual pass to Sogndal Ski Center, and throughout the winter we get many days on the slopes.
We work on skiing technique, balance, turns and control and adapt the lessons to your level. If you have little experience skiing, you will have time to become more confident. If you have a lot of experience before, you will be given challenges that allow you to develop further.
We also use the winter for other activities. These include training, ball games, climbing and bouldering, kiting and trips outside. We also go on a group trip to Hemsedal with the rest of the school.
When spring comes, there will be more variety in outdoor activities. We travel to Hoddevika near Stadt to surf and use the mountains and nature around Sogndal for various activities.
Throughout the winter and spring, we continue to challenge strength, endurance, coordination and cooperation. Variety is still important. You will get to try many different things and experience mastery, without everything being about results and achievement.
In the spring, one of the year's biggest experiences awaits: the study trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar.

On the study trip to Málaga , a week of sun, exercise, activity and new challenges awaits us. Here we get to use our bodies, try new things and experience southern Spain together.
Throughout the week we try out many different activities. We get surfing instruction before we try our hand at it on our own, play beach volleyball and soccer , and go on a full day of mountain biking . There will also be strength training, jogging, and intervals on the beach .
One of the days we will walk the Caminito del Rey , a spectacular hike through the steep landscape outside Málaga. In between the activities there will be time to experience the city, go to the beach, swim and be together.
We live together in a cozy villa , which will be our base throughout the week. Here we get a nice living space with plenty of time to relax and be together between activities.
This is a trip with lots of activity and great variety . Some of it you may have done before, while other things will be completely new. We will train, challenge ourselves, cheer each other on and have a fun week together in Málaga.
Study trip spring: Africa
Join us on an exciting study trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar, where you will experience safari, African nature and culture, and end the trip with activities and experiences on the coast.
-
The study trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar combines activity, culture, nature and wildlife. We will experience great contrasts, from everyday life and activities in Tanzania to safari and some quieter days on the coast in Zanzibar.
The first part of the trip we spend in the area around Moshi . Here we get to know the local community through various visits and activities. It can be everything from football and other sports activities to visits to schools, villages and local organizations. We get to meet people, learn more about everyday life and experience a culture that is in many ways different from our own.
An important part of the trip is safari . We visit some of Tanzania's famous national parks and wildlife areas, where we can see elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, lions and other wild animals. Along the way we stay at various accommodations, including outside or near the safari areas.
The last part of the trip goes to Zanzibar . Here the pace is a little slower, with beach life, ball games, culture and various excursions . We learn about spice production and have time to explore the island. There will also be opportunities for swimming and other activities by the sea.
This is a varied study trip where we get to be active, meet people, experience a different culture and see a completely different landscape and wildlife than at home in Norway.
