Sogndal Folk High School is a liberal arts college located in the center of Sogndal. The school has approximately 95 students. We have the following courses: Outdoor Activities, Skiing and Cycling, Photo Design, Skiing and Climbing, Photo Travel and Sports.
Sogndal Folk High School is a general education school, with an emphasis on personal development through a wide range of subjects. The values of the school are equality, democracy and sustainable community. The kitchen focuses on taste, health and sustainable food and prepares all food from scratch with good ingredients.
Job duties are:
- Administration and operation of the kitchen, including follow-up and updating of IK food, purchasing and menu planning, cooperation between kitchen and school operations
- Cleaning school buildings and washing dishes after meals
Desired qualifications:
- A professional chef certificate is desirable, but otherwise emphasis is placed on relevant work experience and professional knowledge, flexibility, accuracy and the ability to collaborate.
- Knowledge and interest in nutrition, vegetarian, vegan, organic and locally sourced food, as well as personal qualities will be emphasized.
- Salary according to collective agreement. Membership in the State Pension Fund.
