Are you still hungry for more folk high schools – right in the heart of Sogndal?
As a research fellow at Sogndal Folk High School, you will build on the year you have already had as a student. At the same time, you will gain valuable experience in leadership, guidance and social educational work, in addition to specialized study in one of our programs.
Main purpose
The main purpose of the scholarship scheme is to actively contribute to an inclusive, safe and social environment for all students at Sogndal Folk High School.
The scholarship holders are very important to the school. With your own student background, commitment and understanding of everyday life at the boarding school, you help to shape a good community and the best possible school life for everyone who calls this their home.
As a scholarship holder, you will receive
Status as a student at the school, and the possibility of loans and scholarships for Norwegian applicants.

Own days together in a drop-in group
Opportunity to influence your own everyday life
Experience through practice in one's own class and as a role model for students
Insight into communication, dissemination and relationship work
Understanding of social pedagogy and environmental work in a unique school culture
The course syllabus is designed collaboratively, and we facilitate a meaningful and developmental fellowship year.

Residence: Applicants within the EU are given priority due to residence rules
Economy
You will have your board, lodging, and tuition covered.
The following deductibles may apply (voluntary):
Sports center: 1,800 kr
Ski pass: 1,800 kr

Possibility of a study trip to Africa against a deductible (approx. 30,000 NOK)
Vaccines are not included
Electives are not included.
