Scholarship admissions for the academic year 2025–2026

Sogndal Folk High School is seeking applications for scholarship positions for the upcoming school year.

Being a stipend student is suitable for those who have completed a year at a folk high school and who want a second year where you can challenge yourself in new learning situations – both as a teaching assistant and as an active contributor to the school environment.

We are looking for candidates who can participate in teaching in the courses, in core subjects and electives, and who are also motivated to contribute to an active and developing school environment. We are also looking for a student with media experience or experience in content creating for social media. In this role, you will work closely with an employee to market the school externally on digital platforms.

The school has the following programs: Multisport Africa, Outdoor Life, Outdoor Mountaineering, Outdoor Life Norway, Skiing and Climbing, Skiing, Cycling and Surfing, Outdoor Life X Kilimanjaro as well as Golf, sports and skiing.

As a stipend student, Norwegians are also entitled to a grant and loan from the State Loan Fund.
