Ski days in Hemsedal

On Tuesday morning we left a snowy Sogndal for Hemsedal to take a short break from school life. The entire group of students, teachers, principal and dormitory manager went by bus over the mountain to have three intensive days of skiing in the large facility. It was nice in the cold (-17C at the coldest), but everyone took on the challenge.

We had group divisions according to our own wishes at different levels from beginners to advanced; in alpine skiing, mountain skiing, telemark skiing. We were lucky enough to have extra ski instructors Jørgen and Sivert (who were students here last year) in addition to teachers, this year's scholarship recipients and ski-able students from this year's cohort.

Of course, there was also time for personal training every now and then, and a good amount of cocoa was drunk to warm up the body - when necessary.

We stayed right next to the resort in apartments for 18 people, and there was also time for socializing in the evening after dinner. It was really nice to break away from the usual schedule. Everyone had fun - and everyone became better at skiing.

We allow ourselves a few nice Instagram posts.

Thanks for the trip!
