Sogndal Folk High School welcomes you to Family Day at the school on Saturday, November 29, 2025. This is a great opportunity to experience a bit of everyday life here at our school, meet students, teachers and staff, and get a taste of folk high school life.

Program – Saturday, November 29

10:00 – Morning gathering
10.45–12.00 – Family choir
12.15–13.45 – Activities
14:00–14:50 – Class meeting
18.00 – Festive dinner: Traditional Western Christmas dinner
20.00 – Student evening and program in the gymnasium

Practical information

Registration deadline: Monday, November 10th
It is important to register by the deadline if you wish to attend the gala dinner.

Price:

Adults: 450 NOK
Children under 12 years: 270 NOK

Throughout the day, parents will have the opportunity to take a break with coffee/tea and something to eat.

We offer accommodation at the school from Saturday to Sunday, for those who wish to stay. This is on a first-come, first-served basis .

Double room with breakfast: 1400,- per room
Single room with breakfast: 900,- per room
If you need a connecting night, this costs 800kr for a double room and 600kr for a single room.

There are also several other accommodation options in Sogndal.
