Volunteering

Volunteering is a strong tradition in Sogndal, and with almost 80 young and energetic people, it's amazing what you can do in one day - for the village and people who need help.

Dugnad Sogndal is a tradition that was established a few years ago in collaboration with Sogndal Frivillighetssentral. Students from the school go out to anyone who has reported a need for help, and take a bite - for the elderly, the disabled, or others who just need a few extra hands for a few hours. 

-In addition, all students learn a little parish dialect -and forge stronger ties to the local community.
