Live at Sogndal Folk High School this summer!

Every summer we turn Sogndal Folk High School into Sogndal Bed & Breakfast! You sleep in the rooms that are the boarding houses for the students during the school year and you have breakfast in the dining hall where around 100 students eat (almost) all their meals.

If you've ever dreamed of experiencing a folk high school but haven't had the chance, you're warmly welcome to stay with us this summer!

We have excellent facilities on our grounds and like to think of our area as an oasis just outside the heart of Sogndal. And even though there's a road next to us, you won't think much about it when you're relaxing in our apple orchard in a hammock or on our sun loungers (which, by the way, were made by a class of students).

Just across the road, we have a dock with a ladder that's great for swimming from. You can rent kayaks from Sogndal Turlag's website, which are located here. Otherwise, it's a short walk to Dampskipskaien via Fjordstien for a cold drink and good food!

We open for the season on June 26th and are open until the night of August 14th. You are welcome, we hope to see you this summer! :)
